The Nigeria-Ghana World Cup Qualifier’s Aftermath

Don’t get it mixed up.

The Nigerian pitch invasion following the one-all draw between Nigeria and Ghana is not about football.
It’s not about missing out on the World Cup in Qatar.

It’s about our dissatisfaction with everything that’s gone wrong in this country.

Unemployment, hunger, astonishing corruption, decay, growing costs of everything, no electricity, no water, no food, no money, no fuel, no security, no nothing, yet billions of Naira disappear from government coffers every day

Every minute, Nigerians are deceived. Every moron believes he is capable of becoming president. They claim to know how to solve Nigeria’s challenges.

Universities have declared a strike.
Mr. President is sending money to other countries despite the fact that the government can’t offer ASUU even half of what it demands.

We stick our noses into the affairs of other countries while ignoring our own. The government is unable to develop or renovate any refineries, but it spends billions on maintaining those that are already in operation. When Dangote develops one, NNPC decides to buy a 20% interest for the same price as a full refinery.

We are unable to refine the oil that we generate.
We can’t even get proper fuel now.
Every day, Nigerians are confronted with a new form of governance horror. Nothing is out of bounds. This government can enact everything that the mind may imagine. And there is no such thing as a stupid or shameful excuse.

So it has little to do with football when our football team fails to qualify for the World Cup, and there is a pitch invasion and property destruction.

Nigerians are bursting at the seams, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

THIS COULD BE THE WINDS THAT CAUSE A STORM.
OR A MASS MOVEMENT CAUSED BY A DELUGE.
THE NIGERIANS ARE SEARCHING FOR A PLATFORM TO EXPRESS THEIR ANGER…… THEY ALREADY HAVE THE REASONS.
